ECO4 Scheme
So what is ECO and how did it start?
The initial ECO scheme launched in 2013 and has helped 2.4 million people make their homes more energy efficient. The scheme has now moved on through its phases and we have found ourselves at the 4th version of its scheme. On this page you will find out everything you need to know about the ECO scheme to know whether it is something that is available to you or not.
ECO stands for Energy Company Obligation and was setup by the Government and Ofgem (Energy Company Regulating body) to regulate energy companies profits. Ofgem have made it an imperative that because energy companies are profiteering from energy and the harm in which it is having on the environment that they do something about it. So, what they have initiated is that for every energy bill you pay, a percentage of that profit goes straight towards this fund. Meaning YOU HAVE ACTUALLY PAID FOR THIS WORK TO BE DONE ALREADY.
So who are we and how can we help?
